i think the next big thing with events would be focused more on the environment since this is most pressing issue of today. although environmental focused events are already starting, it still have along way to go before achieving the desired awareness.

another big thing for the events would be the enhancement of the visual aspects of events making events out of the box. as we all know, the more that it is out of the box but still not sacrificing the main objectives of the event, the better.
